In concert with our cryogenic valve fabrication capabilities are facilities for cryogenic testing of valves in liquid nitrogen at –324^oF. This equipment allows us to verify our own work as well as test valves for other manufacturers and end-users. Three special insulated stainless steel tanks of varying sizes are used for the tests. A large inventory of stainless steel flanges, bolting, test fixtures and fittings is maintained to fit all common cryogenic sizes. For seat leakage measurements we utilize a bank of various capacity flow meters. For shell, gasket and stem seal leak testing a Helium leak detector with a sensitivity of two ppm is used.
